ESCAPE TO….HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

When we think of home, we use our senses to elicit memories of togetherness, happiness, and joy. The places we call home can be close or far away, but they are always in our minds and our hearts. Our holiday program will include a world premiere commission for Acappellago’s 25th season as well as a special appearance by Director Emeritus, Dennis R. Smith. Join us as we sing songs that evoke the comfort and fellowship of the homes we make with those we love. Welcome Home!

But wait, there’s more!! Then — Now — Forever: 25 Years of Harmony

Mark your calendars now for Saturday, April 24, 2027! Our 25th Anniversary gala will feature entertainment by our members in “can’t miss” performances. Enjoy a fully catered sit-down dinner while enjoying our signature event cocktail from long time sponsor Quincy Street Distillery. Bid on dozens of auction items that offer something for everyone and take a chance on the wine pull! Our galas are always a great time – and this one will turn the party vibe up to 11!

Here’s a group photo from 2003. We’re proud to have over 50 singers in our group now

We had a great time this summer leading the crowds in singing the National Anthem for the Schaumburg Boomers and the Kane County Cougars. Come join us next time!

Our Spring Concert, “Escape to…A Taste of Acappellago” was a delicious success! We sang songs celebrating everything from soup to pizza to shoo fly pie, to beer! Our audiences were delighted with our menu of songs of whimsy and well-known favorites. Look to our Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube sites to hear and see what you might have missed!
